The web is evolving like the step from the .com stage to the social web which has swept the world like a storm. The next step in the evolution of the internet is cloud computing, which is a rhetorical term that describes all the information which would be stored in the many data banks including programs and the information that would be used by them from the providers and users themselves.
There have been some implementations of the cloud computing architecture with Apple’s MobileMe system which has all information that is to be synced to all your apple gadgets stored into the cloud for retrieval when a sync call by any other of your gadgets is requested. The social internet is mostly loosely based on the cloud where all the information and programs subsist allowing more and more people to use it and eliminating the need for several data centers, the biggest ones like Google’s data centers providing the hosting for the other users and providers, who in turn pay only for their usage rather that invest in their own hardware.
